Anti-Corruption Code & Integrity Regulations

Purpose and Zero-Tolerance Policy
The World T20 Continent Cup ("WT20CC") is committed to protecting the integrity, credibility, fairness and reputation of international cricket.
WT20CC adopts a ZERO-TOLERANCE POLICY towards match-fixing, spot-fixing, betting-related corruption, bribery, manipulation of matches or events, inside information misuse, improper approaches, threats, coercion, and any other conduct that may compromise the integrity of the tournament.
Every Player, Official, Coach, Team Manager, Support Staff member, Match Official, Agent, Representative, Organiser, Contractor and other accredited person must comply with this Anti-Corruption Code.
Ignorance of these regulations shall not be accepted as a defence.
Who Is Bound by This Code
This Code applies to:
- All WT20CC players
- Team owners and representatives
- Coaches and assistant coaches
- Team managers
- Support staff
- Match officials and tournament officials
- Medical and fitness staff
- Agents and player representatives
- Organising committee members
- Contractors and accredited personnel
- Volunteers and other tournament-accredited persons
- Any person directly or indirectly participating in or connected with WT20CC
All persons covered by this Code are individually responsible for understanding and complying with it.
Prohibited Conduct
The following conduct is strictly prohibited.
Match-Fixing
No person shall intentionally influence, manipulate, alter or attempt to alter the result, outcome or natural course of a match for an improper purpose or benefit.
Spot-Fixing
It is strictly prohibited to manipulate any specific incident, event or occurrence during a match, including but not limited to:
- Number of runs
- Number of wickets
- Bowling outcomes
- No-balls
- Wides
- Toss-related information
- Player dismissals
- Individual player performances
- Timing or nature of specific events
- Any other predetermined occurrence
Betting
No person covered by this Code may:
- Bet on any WT20CC match or event.
- Place a bet through another person.
- Encourage or assist another person to bet.
- Facilitate betting on WT20CC.
- Receive any financial or other benefit connected with prohibited betting activity.
This prohibition applies whether the betting is conducted directly or indirectly.
Bribery and Corruption
No person shall offer, promise, provide, request, solicit, accept or receive any money, gift, benefit, favour, service or other advantage intended to improperly influence a match, player, official or tournament activity.
Manipulation of Competition
Any attempt to deliberately lose, underperform, manipulate team selection, manipulate player performance or otherwise interfere with the legitimate sporting outcome of a competition is prohibited.
Inside Information
Confidential or non-public information obtained because of a person's position within WT20CC must not be:
- Disclosed to unauthorised persons;
- Sold or provided for betting purposes;
- Used for personal financial gain;
- Used to assist another person in obtaining an improper advantage.
Inside information may include:
- Team selection
- Playing XI
- Injuries or fitness information
- Pitch conditions
- Weather-related information not publicly available
- Tactical information
- Team strategies
- Player availability
- Dressing-room information
- Official tournament information not yet publicly released
Duty to Report Corruption
Every person bound by this Code has an absolute duty to report any approach, offer, request, suspicion or information relating to corruption.
A report must be made as soon as reasonably possible if a person:
- Is approached to fix or manipulate a match;
- Is offered money or another benefit;
- Is asked to provide inside information;
- Becomes aware of suspicious betting activity;
- Learns of a plan to manipulate a match;
- Receives a suspicious communication relating to WT20CC;
Official Document
This Anti-Corruption Code is issued by Atherra Sports Private Limited on behalf of the World T20 Continent Cup (WT20CC). All participants are bound by this Code from the moment of accreditation.
